Sexual Harassment at Workplace

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 mandates all workplaces, including, educational institutions to treat sexual harassment as a misconduct and take measures to address and prevent the same.


The University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Education Institution) Regulation, 2015 and the All India Council for Technical Education (Gender sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and

Students and Redressal in Technical Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2016 provides information on applicability and implementation of the Law for relevant educational institutes.
